The Iowa Association for Nursing Continuing Education promotes quality continuing education for nurses in Iowa and fosters professional growth and understanding among Iowa nursing continuing education providers.

Objectives include:

Promote the concept of lifelong
learning in nursing
education.
Provide a forum for all Iowa
    board of nursing approved
    providers to share concerns,
    common experiences, and
    accomplishments on a
    statewide basis.
Promote excellence in nursing
    continuing education toward
    the improvement of healthcare
    in Iowa.

IANCE accepts the responsibilities of leadership, cooperation, and collaboration.

The group always welcomes new members.

There are Benefits to Becoming an IANCE Member:

Gain opportunities to network with
     other education professionals in the
     area of nursing continuing education
     and staff development;
Acquire new knowledge from the
Provider Focus, the Association
newsletter;
Increase expertise and gain
     information at the annual
     Providers' Conference and business
     meeting;
Benefit from the opportunities to
communicate with a representative
from the Iowa Board of Nursing;
Receive a discount in the registration
fee for attending the IANCE Annual
Providers' Conference;
IANCE members are able to
     advertise at no charge their
     upcoming continuing education
     conferences through this
     organization;
Obtain monetary awards through the
     Professional Development Fund to
     help defray expenses incurred while
     pursuing professional development.
